Zaman Foundation’s vocational training centers were established in March 2017, Hajikot, and Islamnagar Shahdra. The initial 3-month course was revised and extended to a 6-month stitching and tailoring course for women in remote communities of Lahore. Our specialized courses equip women to earn a livelihood and help them find respect and dignity within their households and community.
The master trainers are trained at an industrial level for stitching and tailoring facilitated by the renowned women’s clothing brand, Kayseria. This upgrades them to B category skilled workers, opening employability opportunities worth PKR 25,000+ with brands and industries.
