Pakistan has the second largest global population of out-of-school children. Yet, only 1.91% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is allocated to education. Article 25-A of the Constitution of Pakistan guarantees the right to free and compulsory education to all children between the ages of 5 and 16.
We are supplementing government welfare by providing financial assistance to low-income families for primary, secondary and higher education.
As of 2024, Zaman Foundation has granted 7,500+ needs and merit-based scholarships.
